As the sectional barge pioneer, Flexifloat® has been dedicated to providing superior products and excellent service for over 70 years. This includes project analysis and barge design before the job, on-site support during the job, and lifetime customer support for any jobs you may have in the future. All of this is provided at no cost or obligation to our customers.
Over the years, both our facilities and our products have grown and evolved to meet the changing requirements of our customers. Flexifloat’s fabrication plant and corporate offices are located in Houston, Texas. Additionally, we maintain satellite storage facilities strategically located across the United States to reduce transportation time and expenses to our customers.
Flexifloat’s best-in-class floats and ancillary attachments have been utilized in thousands of inland marine construction projects — from bridges and wharfs to locks and dams, for projects ranging from dredging to pile driving to environmental remediation.
Flexifloat® is the registered trademark product brand name for Robishaw Engineering, Inc., an ISO 9001 certified and registered professional engineering firm in the State of Texas (TBPELS Firm Registration Number F-387).
Company History
Flexifloat was incorporated in 1956 and started business in an old lumber yard on five acres in northwest Houston, Texas.

Our offices and manufacturing facilities are located in northwest Houston, TX.
Supply Centers
To reduce transportation time and costs to our users, inventories of Flexifloat equipment are available from our Houston facility as well as satellite storage yards throughout the country.
