Flexifloats® used as Sponsons on Conventional Barge

Modern Continental Companies modified their conventional barges so that Series S-70 pontoons could be attached. 5,600 square feet of Flexifloats® provided the additional stability necessary to support an American 11320 Skyhorse crane while building the Dorchester Avenue Bridge, part of Boston’s Big Dig project.
