Crane Barge on Sardis Lake, Mississippi

Misener Marine Construction drove concrete piling from a “T”-shaped Series S-70 spud barge with a 225-ton American 9310 crawler crane. Due to its close proximity to an earthquake fault zone, the pilings were designed to reinforce the lake’s earthen dam in the event of a significant seismic event.
