Keeping Flexifloats Safe From the Elements
Flexifloats should be stored on timber mats or other dunnage to keep them off the ground. The dunnage should be placed directly under the float’s locks if the Flexifloats are to be stacked on top of one another. The ability to stack the Flexifloats will depend on the machinery available at your storage site. Dunnage will be necessary between the floats if a heavy forklift is being used. S70 Series Flexifloats are typically stored in stacks of 3. S50 Series may be stored in stacks of 4, and H50 Series may be stored in stacks of 5. Always observe in-house safety guidelines regarding restrictions to personnel working at certain heights.
